Your agents, on your phone
Manage 38 coding agents, including Claude Code and Codex, from your phone, laptop or desktop. The free Orchestrator app for iPhone, iPad and Android pairs with the desktop app on your computer, so you can see every session, answer agents that are blocked and follow their pull requests while you're away from your desk. Agents run on your machine.

What you can do from your phone
See every session on one board
A live Kanban of every worker session, grouped by working, needs you, in review and ready to merge.
Get notified when an agent needs you
A push notification arrives when a session needs your input. Tapping it opens that conversation.
Start new work
Kick off a new agent session from your phone, with a dictated prompt if typing is impractical.
Chat with any agent and approve its requests
Full conversation history, streaming replies, approvals, model and provider switching, file attachments and voice input.
Follow pull requests
Open and draft PRs with their checks, CI status and review state.
Talk to the orchestrator
Plan with your project-level orchestrator agent and delegate new work from your phone.
Open the live terminal
Attach to a session's terminal when you need the raw view.
Preview running work
Open a worker's browser preview to see what it built.
Manage every machine
Pair more than one desktop, name each one, pick a default and filter work across machines, so one phone covers the whole fleet.
How pairing works
- Install the Orchestrator desktop app on your Mac, Windows or Linux machine.
- In the desktop app, open Settings → Connect Mobile and choose Generate. It shows a QR code, an address and an 8-character password.
- In the mobile app, tap Pair a machine and scan the QR code, or enter the address, port and password by hand.
The phone then races every address in the pairing offer and uses the first one that answers. The full walkthrough, including troubleshooting, is in the Connect Mobile docs.
On the same Wi-Fi, and away from home
Same network (LAN)
Every plan · iPhone, iPad and Android
Phone and computer on the same trusted network. The phone talks straight to your computer, so the connection stays on your network. There's no encryption: it's plain HTTP protected by the connection password, so use it only on networks you trust.
Tailscale
Not on iPhone or iPad · Android not yet verified
Phone and computer on the same tailnet, from any network. When the computer is signed in to Tailscale, Connect Mobile adds its Tailscale address to the pairing QR. iPhone and iPad cannot use it. Android is allowed but not yet verified on a device, so test it off your home Wi-Fi before relying on it. Traffic goes through Tailscale's WireGuard tunnel between devices; the Orchestrator request itself is plain HTTP.
Managed HTTPS tunnel
Starter and up · any network · iPhone, iPad and Android
Install cloudflared from Connect Mobile and your computer gets an HTTPS address the phone can reach from any network, after you scan the refreshed QR code. Traffic goes over HTTPS to Cloudflare's edge, and Cloudflare terminates TLS. The address can change when the tunnel restarts; scan the refreshed QR code if the old one stops working.
Your computer has to stay awake for the phone to reach it. On supported Macs, Connect Mobile can keep the Mac awake while mobile access is on. New in nightly: an opt-in mode that keeps an Apple Silicon MacBook reachable with the lid closed; it stops at low battery or high temperature.
No built-in relay yet. Orchestrator doesn't have a built-in relay for reaching your computer from your phone yet. Away from home, use the managed HTTPS tunnel (Starter and up), or Tailscale on Android (not yet verified on a device; iPhone and iPad can't use it). If you'd rather agents keep running while your computer is off, Orchestrator Cloud, available now, runs them in hosted sandboxes; cloud agents start with Starter. See plans
Security model
- Agents run on your computer and your repositories stay there. The phone is a thin client that views and steers them; it never runs agents.
- Phone access is off by default. Turning on Connect Mobile opens a separate listener; the main daemon listener stays loopback-only.
- That listener is protected by a rotating password. Regenerating it invalidates every old pairing, and repeated wrong attempts can trigger a temporary lockout.
- Pairing checks the computer's identity before the phone sends the password. Treat the QR code like a password.
- Turning Connect Mobile off closes the listener immediately.
- Pairing doesn't need an account. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push service and Apple or Google, and carry only a short title, body and session reference.
What the app stores and sends is covered in the privacy policy.

FAQ
Is there an Orchestrator app for iPhone, iPad and Android?
Yes. The free Orchestrator.inc mobile app is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4 or later) at https://apps.apple.com/app/ao-mobile/id6792552173 and on Google Play for Android at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=aoagents.dev. It pairs with the Orchestrator desktop app for macOS, Windows or Linux.
Do agents run on my phone?
No. Agents run on your own computer. The phone is a thin client: it shows sessions, sends replies and approvals, and opens terminals on the machine you paired.
Can I use it away from home?
Yes, on Starter and up: install the managed HTTPS tunnel from Connect Mobile, wait for the remote endpoint, and scan the refreshed QR code; it works on iPhone, iPad and Android from any network, and Cloudflare terminates TLS. On Android you can also pair over Tailscale, which is not yet verified on a device; iPhone and iPad can't use Tailscale. Your computer has to stay awake and online.
Does it work over Tailscale?
Partly. When your computer is signed in to Tailscale, Connect Mobile adds its Tailscale address to the pairing QR. iPhone and iPad cannot use it, because iOS blocks plain HTTP to Tailscale addresses. Android is allowed but not yet verified on a device, so test it off your home Wi-Fi first. Otherwise use the same network or the managed HTTPS tunnel.
Is there a relay like other tools have?
Not yet. Orchestrator has no built-in device relay; the Starter plan lists a cloud relay as coming soon. Away from home, use the managed HTTPS tunnel (Starter and up), or Tailscale on Android (not yet verified on a device).
Can one phone manage more than one computer?
Yes. Pair several desktops, give each a name and icon, choose a default, and filter work across machines. The Free plan covers 2 devices total, in any mix of phones, computers and remote VMs.
